Can you use a universal power cord on a sonic ifusion 5085?

Is the power cord on a sonic ifusion 5085 universal or item specific? This item is ipod speakers. If I purchased the item without a power cord would any universal cord work? Does anybody know?

I would not try a universal power cord. There are current and voltage considerations, not to mention polarity.
