What are some good wedding favors for an autumn wedding reception?

I was thinking chocolate name cards, but the groom and I will be flying from Illinois to Connecticut with all of those name cards in hopes that they don't break or melt. So that's probably not the best choice in our case. We would really like to give chocolates of some sort, but we need ideas on something that will travel well. Thanks.

However, these might not travel well but would be very easy to make once you land! Appleas and caramel can be found at pretty much any grocery store!
