Looking for a hotel with a family suite near Disney World...Help?

Hello, we are planning a trip in March to Disney World, we have 2 families, we have 3 adults and 2 kids in the group, so we are hoping to find a family suite. Has anyway stayed in a family suite near Disney? Where, and what was the rate? Thanks!

Well, if you are doing a Disney World-only vacation, staying in a Disney World resort would be ideal. However, it's not always the most cost-efficient option, especially if you are wanting a family suite. The cheapest family suites on Disney World property are at the All-Star Music resort (a value resort) and the Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort (a moderate resort). I would prefer the cabins over the All-Star Music family suite because the sleeping arrangement in the family suite isn't the most comfortable (two of the 'beds' are actually chairs that convert into single beds):

If you're looking off-property, I would recommend WorldQuest Resort, one mile from the main gate of Disney World. I almost always stay here when I vacation in Orlando, and the last time I went (in May) I paid $118.00 a night; not bad considering everything you get. That price was for three bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, dining room, full kitchen (everything from the stove and the refrigerator to the cookware and dishes), washer/dryer and a large screened-in balcony. It's great for everyone to be able to have some privacy instead of being all together in one or two rooms:

A cheaper option would be the Seralago Hotel & Suites Main Gate East, just a few minutes from Disney World. This is a great little resort, but easy on the wallet. You can get a family suite that sleeps up to eight (one room with two double beds, a murphy bed and sleeper sofa in the living room). They also have kid suites.
