I need a list of all the possible combinations of up down left and right?

There are 4x4x4x4=256 combinations
You could generate such a list in binary but I'm not sure anyone's explicitly put up a list online anywhere.

generate all the 8 digit binary numbers
then interpret the binary by grouping the digits in groups of two
e.g.

10010111

becomes
(10) (01) (01)(11)

and use the following key to convert into directions
00 = Left
01 = right
10 = up
11 = down

so the binary in our example turns into
up right right down
