Bottom Wheeled Duffel

How can I fix a torn lining that separates a bottom and top compartment of a Duffel Bag?

I overstuffed the bottom compartment of my Wheeled Duffel Bag and the lining that separates it from the bigger, top compartment tore along the the edge. Is there anyway I can sturdily reattach the tear? It runs most of the inside length of the bag
