Should I have 1 big binder or 6 small ones?

I can't decide whether I want to carry around a small bag and carry a small binder for each class +1 for homework. Or if I should just do a backpack that i leave in my locker, and have one large binder with dividers for each subject and pockets for my pencils. Last year I did one large binder and became a little disorganized, would an individual binder for each be better?
Why or why not?

Well lets see the pros and cons

First lets do the 1 big binder

PROS
-----------------------------------------
You dont have to carry around a bunch of binders
You cant really forget anything
They might be more like.. nice then a bunch of binders
Youd have more locker space

..
CONS
------------
It would be really messy inside, or really crowded.
It might be really heavy.
If you dont clean it out regularly it could get really messy
Some teachers might want a binder exclusively for there class, and might not allow it.

Now the 6 small ones

PROS:
They would be more organized
It most likely wouldnt be as much money, because big binders are usually really
expensive
The teachers cant be unhappy, because you have a binder for every class
Each single binder usually has atleast one pocket, so youd have one for every class instead
of One to share for them all

CONS:
Itll take up more space in your locker
They will be harder to keep track of
You might get the wrong one if you dont label them

So, Id prefer 6 small ones, but just look at the pros and cons and decide for yourself.
