Nancy Drew and the Wolf of Icicle Creek: Trouble with Isis Command Box.?

On my PC game of Nancy Drew and The Wolf of Icicle Creek, I'm almost done, and I've gone through Trapper Dan's tunnels, and had Isis the Wolf hold the rope, I went back to the lodge to get the pig key and the command box won't go away! I can't get to the backpack, notes, checklist or anything! Does anyone know how to get rid of it?... I tried to go back to the shack in the woods but I CAN'T because I can't get the SNOWSHOES in the backpack becaus of the damn command box! PLEASE HELP!
